Apple announced the brand new iOS version, iOS 17, for Apple iPhones at yesterday’s WWDC event. After the announcement, it was observed that some features were added, taking inspiration from the Android operating system. However, there was no response from the Google side. So, we have listed 5 features that Google should bring to the new Android 14 version by copying from iOS 17 features. Here are the details…
Andorid 14 sürümünde olması gereken 5 iOS özelliği!
1- Sensitive content warning
A crucial feature for Android 14 inspired by iOS 17. This feature blurs “sensitive” content like photos and videos, providing a system-wide option before viewing. It enhances communication safety across Messages, AirDrop, FaceTime messages, and third-party apps.
2- User profile support in iOS Safari
Android 14 must take a cue from iOS 17 and add profile support to the Safari web browser. Separate work and personal profiles with their own history, passwords, and more. Google should bring similar desktop-style functionality to Chrome for Android.
3- iOS Check In feature
Android 14 needs to incorporate this feature to automatically notify loved ones when users arrive home. It also prompts for user response if progress halts. If unanswered, the feature shares location, battery, and signal status. A built-in feature in Google Maps or Personal Safety app would be ideal.
4- iOS contact posters feature for Android 14
Apple’s iOS 17 introduces Contact Posters, displaying an image during phone calls and in third-party apps. Android users would appreciate this customization option with various fonts, colors, and effects.
5- iOS 17 NameDrop for Android 14
A new feature in iOS 17 that lets users carry their digital business card within their iPhone. Android 14 should draw inspiration from this and develop a similar feature for seamless contact sharing.
